i went to marianas trench in the ocean. It is the deepest trench in the ocean. it is 35,000 feet. i noticed that going through the ocean the depth gets less or more because of all the hills. Going toward a continent it gets less and less due to the massive land mass.

People study the waves of the ocean so that they can predict if there is going to be a big wave that can cause major flooding. They study it and will let people know if anything will happen or let people know if they could be in any danger

90% of marine life live in the sunlit zone. the sunlit zone goes down to 600 feet. Plankton live in this lit area. The second part of the ocean is the Twilight zone which has only a little light. lantern fish, rattalk fish, jelly fish, hatchet fish, viper fish. The deepest part of the ocean is known as the midnight Zone. Ninety percent of marine life live down there. The temp is nearly freezing down there. The angler fish, tripod fish, sea cucumber, snipe eel, oppossom shrimp, and black swallower.

A hot iron nail is dropped into a bucket of water. The nail cools down and steam rises from the bucket. This is an example of Latent heat. It is also an example of Heat flowing from a hot object to a cold Object. It is an example of Latent heat because when the hot nail hits the water the water releases the hidden particles in the nail and it cools down. And the other example is because while it sits in the water it cools down but also heats up the water a little.

Im doing my blog over the Polar Bear. I found them most interesting because they live in extremely cold weather and do just fine. They Find animals to eat in the ground by stomping on it. I found that pretty interesting.
the most interesting thing i learned from the video is that it took 13 years to make the video because as they went on they found new kinds of fish. It took them all that time because they actually went around the world and looked all over. I found out that the fish will hide in crates, or rope or anything they can find so they can stay away from bigger fish that will harm them. They will find anything to hide in to stay away from anything they will eat them. I found out that one kind of fish will go up to the surface of the water and have a bird peck off the stuff off of them, or have fish do it.
